New Service Starts November 1st

Comfort Grooming

This service is being provided for not only our hospice/palliative patients but any pet that is:

  • Struggling with mobility and unable to go to a groomer,
  • Mobility issues causing instability due to long nails or paw fur,
  • Unable to groom themselves, 
  • In need of overall comfort  clean up to make them feel dignified and fresh. 

On Thursdays and Fridays we will offer, nail clipping/dremel, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, hygienic clip, matting clip (situational), or hygienic bath (situational). 

These services will be a case-by-case situation so please call to inquire about these services and restrictions, and to see if your pet qualifies for these services!

Dr. Melanie Culver

Dr. Melanie Culver is accredited through the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC) as well as the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy (CAETA) and has obtained Fear Free Level Elite recognition as well as Human Animal Bond certification.

She is currently working towards accreditation in pain management through the International Veterinary Association for Pain Management (IVAPM).
